Blogging a little....again...

After much hounding....you know who you are. I am going to be better about blogging again....Okay....Maybe.

We moved, but most of you know that. I am still trying to figure out permanent resting places for some of our things. But that is just part of the game. We love that we have so much more space. It is so nice that the kids can actually be misplaced in the house for a few minutes. Silence is golden and very scary!

Some pics of the last 7 months.....

Melanie and her favorite teacher, Mrs. Lowe....We now live in her house.

The kids and their Papa (my dad). He came to visit us in August. We love when he can come and visit.

I made a pie! Are you impressed?!?! You wish you could make yours look like that sweet, delicious, peachy perfection! Yeah, right.

Doesn't that look like trouble coming your way! Madison turned 7 and took some of her friends to go see HSM 3! If you don't know what that is...be extremely thankful!

Our cute, sweet boy at Thanksgiving. We went to Colorado to spend some time with the fam there. We had a blast!

My grandma and I with my kids. She loves it when we can visit!!

My grandpa and my girls. They are very fortunate to have a special relationship with their great-grandpa. He loves to listen to all their stories and tell a few about their mom.

Our tree on Christmas morning. All of the gifts couldn't fit around the tree! They had to be spread out all over the room! How spoiled are some people's kids!! Certainly not mine. No laughing or snickering. I can hear your mind! I know the picture is sideways, but I can't figure out how to turn it.

Well that is pretty much life until now. Brice has hidden the camera, so I don't have any of our current pictures to download.

You gotta love what comes outta her mouth......

Maddie says the craziest things. While observing her playing with her Barbie, I heard the following words...."Okay, I gotta take my Barbie's bra off."
I say, "Why is your Barbie wearing a bra?"
Her father says, "They're plastic. It's not like they're gonna fall." Gotta love Father for that.
Maddie says, "Because she is a lady!"
I say, "What are ladies who don't wear bras?" Don't ask me why I wanted to know.
Maddie says, "They are MEN!!!" You have to know that Maddie never misses a beat.
Then she adds as an afterthought...."Well kids don't wear bras either."

That's it. The thoughts of Maddie on the subject of Barbies, bras, men and kids. You just have to love her.

The Neigborhood Bike Parade and the 1st Day of School

Our neighborhood had a bike parade and breakfast at the park after. The kids had a blast. There were water games, lots of buckets of water being thrown around and of course....decorated bikes. Our theme was ribbons and bows.

The girls' first day of school went off without a hitch. They love school. They walk to and from everyday. We are going to start bikes soon. We have to earn that privilege with Mom. They take their lunch almost every day. And we have not had too many problems getting up and getting ready for the day.

I know its been a long time......

I know it has been awhile since my last post. So much for weekly posts. We are that exciting...just no time to sit down and download the pics off my camera. Soooo....I will have to post over several days to get everyone up to speed.

First off...We went on a boat. Our great friends have a boat and we get to come along for fun times. My kids are such water babies. They had a blast and slept soooo well that night!!!!

We have a walker.....

J TOOK 8 STEPS TODAY! I was so happy I almost cried. He has PT tomorrow. I know his therapist will be pleased. No photos yet of the walking man. It is hard to take a picture with a great big stupid Mom grin on your face. I will take some soon....as the shock wears off.

Still getting the hang of this.....

We are still getting the hang of blogging. Okay...remembering to post.

The kids are all good. ME and MK begin school in 2 weeks. Yeah!!!!!!!
We have been to the park and the pool. We lit fireworks with friends on the 4th. The kids loved them. J was a little scared, but was just fine with some extra little hugs from Mommy. He was in awe of all the sparkle of the night. The girls had some safe fun with sparklers.

A week ago B was able to take a well deserved day off work and was able to go to the pool with us. The kids were so happy he could partake in some summer fun. We love this pool because they have two splash pads that J loves to splash around in and Mom can relax a little knowing that they can't get into water that is too deep for them. Don't worry....I am still vigilant about where they are and what they are doing. We are going to try to go a couple more times before school goes back.

The pics of the kids are of our fun day at the pool with Dad, at the park with ducks, J's first Oreo experience, the girls with their American Girl dolls with new outfits that I promised them 4 months ago.

Our new goal is to post every week. I hope we can be that exciting!!!

Finally blogging........

Here is our blogging debut!!!!

I have finally figured out how to download pictures from our camera to the computer.

The girls got new hairdos on Thursday from our friend Kaye. We just love her scissors. ME's hair is now cut into that Utah A-Line. She loves it. MK got hers freshened up. They both look super cute!

J is pushing along with his new push toy that his PT recommended. He will be walking on his own in no time at all.

ME tried out for a new dance team today and made Junior Divas....she is so excited.
